I wasn’t commenting on that part, just the implication that a megacorp would steal money turned in. Megacorps are pretty evil, but that’s too much paperwork for them

The mega corp isn’t interested in disappearing money from people. The cash won’t balance if you inject new, and even with overages they are usually looked into and at a minimum need an explanation attached.

Employees will definitely disappear the money

Is there a lemmy community that post these type of poem memes? I love them so much

A lot of Cyclists seem to have car brain when biking, but don’t realize they are on a bike.

I have almost hit several cyclists that run red lights going 20+ MPH. Good thing I was paying attention…

When I lived in a walking friendly area, I used to keep a metal multitool in my hand to hit cars with when they tried to run me over.

It’s for the entire district, and the costs don’t seem that high to me.

14000 slots for students means it’s $12.86 per student over (typically) 20 years…

$0.64 per student per year seems reasonable.

You really don’t NEED to learn how to make ai generated memes. I highly doubt your job is forcing you to use AI to make memes.

If you are so high you did that, you shouldn’t be driving

You are missing the second edit saying that this is your top post

2500 for 50 tonnes of material? That isn’t bad at all.

That’s the usual outcome, even for investigations where there was something bad that happened.

They hire an outside law firm who specializes in this. They do investigations of something that happened years previously, was badly handled so nothing was written down, memories fade, and people leave the job.

The investigators are also biased since they are being paid by management.

The typical result, regardless of the truth, is not finding anything.

Personally, I think 4k 60 fps porn is better. You DO get so see the gory details. The stretch marks, moles, defects humans have.

That’s what makes people beautiful, not airbrushed nonsense.
