I would go for 1€ 5GB if I could.

Never reached 10GB mark on my mobile plan

For me 5tb at 7€ would be a downgrade

Never heard of "aglione"?

Its an italian strain of garlic which is milder (so i think its similar to what you get can get in the USA)

Its very good and much better for some preparations

Well, i doubt there is much difference between the s22 and the s25 in terms of Samsung privacy

In my company we use google workplace and we all have gemini pro. Im sysadmin but i would never use it since they are tracking all the prompts and could be analyzed by my company as well

In 2017 I bought a refurbished lenovo p2 for 300 that lasted me until 2024. Out of boredom, non because i needed it to change, i bought a refurbished s20 ultra for 350, still my daily driver.

No one is forcing anyone to buy a top gamma phone every year for 1400€

No graphic (its integrated with the CPU). Ill have a look

Edit: realized that i didnt specify videos. I want to play 4k videos, not gaming

In my Linux mint I downgraded to playing only 1080p because 4k is very laggy and filled with artifacts.

I have a mini optiplex 7070 with 32GB of ram, Intel processor (not a powerful one).but in windows 11 I could play 4k content with no issue.

I hate the meth-nazzi-fuck, I would hate more my government if it started to imprison random people for inclusive ideology or religion or whatever.

I would use starlink if it's a good ad working way of communicating in difficult situation.

Still would hate the meth-nazi-fuck.

I don't think we can fight all the battles, think about owning a car (few car constructors are ethic), or food providers (bulk animal killing), flying (environment), probably 90% of my phone comes from a billionaire slave owning company, clothes? Same.

Windows 11 remote desktop microphone stops working intermittently (lemmy.world)
 

Hi, I have this issue since 2 days and it's driving me crazy:

I use my gaming PC (W10) to connect to my working laptop (W11) using remote desktop so that I can use all my HW on both the computer simultaneously, especially my headset.

Yesterday on my gaming PC I've installed "tiny11" with "amileorated.io" and I started to have this issue with my microphone:

Bascically when I connect to the work laptop, everything works normally for a few minutes (sometime even like 15 minutes) then my Microphone stops working (it's like muting itself, there's no error in windows).

The Sound works normally and it is still forwarded to the headset and on top of that, the microphone in my gaming PC still works.

Sometimes after a while it re-activate itself on the working laptop and it works normally again, on the gaming PC I never had issues.

Any idea? I tried already enabling all the group policy for RDP redirection, the RDP settings are correct with remote audio set as "recording from this computer" on my gaming pc. In fact, everything works normally for a while and then it stops.

IVPN and AirVPN wireguard working only if i connect to them first via LTE (lemmy.world)
 

Hi, i have this weird issue where both my IVPN and my AirVPN connection works only if i do the following:

Disabile WiFi Connect to LTE and open either IVPN or AirVPN Connect to wireguard protocol Enable WiFi and Connect to it Disabile LTE

Now it works

If i try to connect to wireguard protocol from WiFi directly (corporate WiFi) it doesnt work

Any idea why?

If i Connect from my home WiFi it works normally

Recurring issue in corporate wifi on windows 11 computers (lemmy.world)
 

Hi all, I've got an issue in my company that it's now some months that is happening to many windows users.

Basically the user change the windows password due to a policy that require every 3 months to change it (I know not ideal, but still) , the user then works fine under wifi for 1-4 hours and then he gets kicked out from the network.

The network is a visible SSID with WPA2-Enterprise security (AES ecncryption) and the authentication method is PEAP using the saved login information (from AD).

Here some test I did for troubleshooting:

1st Test: Normal password change from windows: ctrl alt canc, change pw: All good, no disconnection at all -> user is good to work

2nd Test: We force-reset a new password on the PC -> The users stays connected to wifi even after 15 minutes from the reset, this means that the wireless network kept an "old token" as valid even tho the windows password changed. We manually disconnect from the network (turn off wifi) and reconnect -> doesn't work We reboot the PC which still logs in with the OLD password -> We try to connect to wifi (without using the new pw) -> KO We connect ethernet cable, we receive the message that the domain has a different pw than the PC -> lock PC -> Unlock with new password -> Wifi still doesn't work -> Reboot, login to pc with new Password -> wireless works

NOTE: We suspect that this "old token" is not renewed for a while sometimes, that's why the user, even with an old pw, can still connect and work normally.
