It’s not a coincidence, liberalism just inevitably feeds into creating fascism, anyone who has studied the history of fascism historically can really see that. Even if Ur-fascism is somewhat different, one can visibly see the leaders of neoliberalism stepping back to ensure the rise of fascism over making concessions to the working class.

Really asks the question “why even be here?”

Magnets and some copper wires baby! How do we mine up and create these wires and magnets? Lol we’re so boned. (Actually I’ve watched enough primitive technology vids that I might be able to resolve that one too!)

Real talk I actually think it’s not a horrible idea to have like… a book on how to do permaculture on hand. While I doubt being sent back in time will happen, society collapsing enough that knowing how to sustainably farm food is actually a distant possibility. More than likely you’ll be dead in that scenario anyways

This is why most reactionaries desperately cling to the idea that what they’re experiencing is secretly socialism. They literally do the joke “socialism is when bad thing happens” to circle the square.

Oh god that’s a good point lol

They aren’t screened worth a damn lol. I do a lot of gig work in my city, and I really hate the way people everywhere bitch about foreigners doing this kind of work, but I’ve had a hard time not looking at these guys without some scrutiny after hearing them talk about politics. It goes way beyond the ukro guys too, I was clenching my jaw one time listening to an Iranian guy and this Asian dude talk about how China and Iran are the evilest countries one time while wanting to scream about how we are all scraping the bottom of the barrel and they’re obsessed with the empires enemies who have nothing to do with the shitty material conditions of our lives.

I dunno, it so hard to try to define what part of my view of these guys is just reactionary nonsense I’ve not purged. It doesn’t help that many of them are rude as fuck to service workers

Huahoooooo!

Please someone help me

I think it’s cool but also really stupid the way it cannot be used in the high end titles without insane hardware, and it seems like it’s another one of those things that will be forever out of reach while also not being implemented into simpler games where it might actually work without destroying frame rates.

Honestly the way they bake in lighting now is fine though, like I cannot justify this tech if it costs this much resources to render.

I really like his books, honestly just got my friend a copy of The Destiny of Civilization. I guess I should warn him it’s got some trot pov, kinda forgot that about Hudson

Super cool, the more they discover these protein based medicine the better. Everything like this can be made with bioreactors using GMO’d yeast, which is not really crazy technology to get your hands on.

This is in response to me basically saying bickering over what to do with the state right now is pointless given how far away we are from ending capitalism in the imperial core. I think this was a thread from like 2 weeks ago, I legit thought my comments would be lost in the ether but apparently not lmao.

Really indicative of the American zeitgeist. Everyone knows there’s something wrong but they can’t really land on a solution, or simply cannot break through the immense propaganda to do so. Meanwhile the people existing on the very fringes of society are falling into the old lines (socialism VRs barbarism).

My ex’s dad swore he knew how to do datura just right so you could have an ok trip

Honestly the man was a riot

I feel a little ashamed (but probably shouldn't be) as my weight situation is not incredibly severe, and also I'm doing this completely on my own via online vendor (more on the absurd prices of these drugs the offical way in a bit). I'm probably only about 40-50lbs overweight, but I do have stage 1 hypertention at this point and decided I may as well just go for it since I don't personally have a lot of qualms with "doing it the easy way" (stupid), or experimenting with drugs in general.

Beyond whatever weird guilt I've felt about doing it this way, its pretty immediately made a big difference in my appetite, even though I started myself on half the recommended starting dosage. I kind of assumed from reading about it that these GLP drugs would put me back into a state that I was in when I was younger, where eating was predominately a purposeful decision I had to make rather than an impulse. So far this has held true, my choice of when to eat is now on my terms which feels really great. At this dose its not so strong, and I'm a little afraid of bumping up to the normal starting dose in case I have strong side effects given that I think its working.

One of the absolute BEST side effects so far, however, is that I completely stopped having IBS-D flare ups. Turns out part of the way these drugs function is slowing down your digestion (which can become problematic if the dosage is working too well), but as a consequence I'm not having any issues whereas the last month or so before dosing I had been having really bad IBS on a continual basis, where only being really careful to consume lots of fiber was helping (and then not always).

Taking it has made me really excited for anyone being able to use these drugs for weightloss and whatever beneficial health effect that can have on them. I personally think its absolutely nuts how much these companies are charging. I found a good vendor with lots of third parties/buyers doing GCMS testing to make sure everything was pure, and they're charging 135$ (this includes the price of shipping!) for NINE MONTHS worth of ozempic. These companies are absolutely gouging the hell out of people, and theres a lot of other middlemen peddling this stuff with huge markups because its just so easy to sell.

Anyways, was wondering if anyone else was currently on these drugs and what their feelings were? Or if anyone wants to field any questions I'd be glad to talk, but unfortunately I just started so I'm not going to be a amazing source on how its working for me just yet.
