only 37 percent of adults approve of Trump’s work as president

That is still almost 100 million people saying "this is fine". They must be completely decoupled from reality, and that is scary.

I call them, on the telephone.

So your username is accurate.

This is still relatively cheap compared to other developed nations.

Excellent comment and I fully agree with almost everything. Just one tiny nitpick:

For example if I have some sort of complex calculation, but it’s based on a well known algorithm, I might comment the name of that algorithm.

Unless you really need this complex calculation to be inline (e.g. for performance reasons) it would be better to move it into a function or method and include the algorithm in the name instead of adding a comment.

Not just beginners unfortunately. One of the things I have to almost always teach to new colleagues, even experienced ones, is to put at least some minimal effort into making the code itself readable instead of relying on comments as crutches. Just basic things like picking proper names for variables and functions.

Lidl has one called "NO MILK" that I personally don't like because it tastes too much like cow's milk, but it is an excellent choice for people just starting their oat milk journey.

Unfortunately a lot of other people who do not deserve any of this are and will continue to be affected negatively by this relatively small group (on a global scale) being monumentally stupid.

So every sane dev will just sit that day out, do nothing and then once it has all blown over one of them will hard reset main to right before the silly time started. Sounds like a chill time, but not a good plot for a movie imo.

This is not a meme, it's just an ad.

The title of this post is one more pebble on the mountain of attacks against democracy and the rule of law in Europe. Sure, the EU could be improved a lot, but declaring it a joke and tearing it all down is certainly not going to make anything better; except maybe for authoritarian leaders in countries outside of the EU who want to go back to being able to bully around all those smaller nations individually.

Außerdem hätte ich von einer Bundesministerin eigentlich erwartet, dass sie das Grundgesetz kennt, speziell Artikel 20 Satz 4.
