Habe heute gehört das man das als echten Brief machen soll, der kann nicht einfach gelöscht und automatisch beantwortet werden

I'm also looking to get startet and to integrad it in my media arr server

I have an German Tolino nice system

i use pfsense but i have done it like this bridge 0 (wan/houselan) and bridge 1 (serverlan) and my 4 physical ports are 1 vor bridge 0 and 3 for bridge 1

how i link a switch to it and use vlans i dont know yet because my homelab is small and i have no need yet

Hi everyone, I’ve recently taken an interest in self-hosted solutions for document management and budgeting, specifically Paperless-ngx, Firefly III, and n8n. A bit about me: I run a Proxmox server with a freshly set up Docker LXC container. I’m still quite new to all this, but i am infected with the homelab fever.

After spending hours on Google, I’ve come across a few services that caught my eye:

Paperless-ngx: A tool for scanning and organizing all my receipts, invoices, and documents in a searchable database.

Firefly III: A budgeting app with lots of cool features. My goal is to use it to get a better overview of my finances.

n8n: To automate the process, because I know I’m lazy and won’t keep up with manual data entry for long.

My idea: I want to scan receipts and invoices, store them in Paperless-ngx, use OCR to extract the text, total amount, and maybe even individual items, and then pass that data to Firefly III via n8n.

My questions:

Does anyone have experience with these tools? Is this a good approach, or should I consider other software?

I’ve seen that n8n is getting a lot of hype, but also has some critical, glaring issues. Is it still a good choice for this kind of automation?

Are there any tutorials or blog posts out there that cover a similar setup? I haven’t found much online. Are there any additional Docker containers I should consider, like a dedicated AI container or a special database? I have only a weak Intel I5 7th Gen PC.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or any concerns you might have about this project. If you know someone who has done something similar, or if there’s a hidden tutorial I’ve missed, please let me know!

Hi everyone, I’m running a Proxmox server with a Docker LXC container and want to set up a music server. I’ve heard about many services, but I’m not sure which one fits my needs best. My goals:

A program that lets me play music with many client apps, ideally with offline playback for some tracks.

A tool that helps me discover and download music, similar to how I use Deluge, Prowlarr, and SABnzbd for my movie server.

A service that recommends music based on my taste and playlists, like Spotify does. This is especially important for me because I’m not very creative with my playlists—they tend to be short and boring.

I want to share the server with my girlfriend, who uses Apple devices, so the experience should be as smooth as Spotify for her.

What self-hosted music servers do you use in your homelabs? Are there any tools that can analyze my existing playlists and suggest similar music? Do you have any tutorials, blog posts, or Docker Compose files for easy setup?

I’m really excited to hear what you’re using and what you recommend!

Hi there. I'm the Owner of an Voron 2,4, which dosent sees much use because i m a lazy ass. After my last Upgrade: SB2209 CAN board Carthographer 3D Phaetus Rapido HF

Did i decide that i need a fresh Klipper Install. Some of my Calibration: E-steps calibrated (stored in printer.cfg) Carthographer probe calibrated Input Shaping (MZV) done and values saved in printer.cfg Pressure Advance: default Voron value still in printer.cfg, but I tune PA per filament in OrcaSlicer

Problem: Switched to a different ABS filament and now: Walls and holes are off (clearly due to flow differences) Corners are missing or bulging Over-extrusion behavior So dimensional accuracy is lost.

I have separate filament profiles in OrcaSlicer, but I’m unsure:

What must be done once in firmware (e.g. in printer.cfg)?

What should be tuned per filament/spool in the slicer?

Which calibrations are required at minimum, and where do you store the results (slicer vs firmware)?

There are tons of calibration prints and tuning tools out there — → Which ones do you consider mandatory at least once? → Which do you repeat for every filament? → Any automated routines or test macros you use regularly?

Trying to improve my workflow and avoid unnecessary retuning while keeping dimensional accuracy across filaments.

Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! I have been de-googling my life for a few years. I don't have official YouTube clients anymore. At this point I use PipePipe, a fork from New Pipe to watch videos.

But as a Spotify and YouTube Music replacement, I am currently using Outer Tune.

My problem is that with or without Proton VPN usage I get errors again and again. despite closing the app, switching off the VPN etc. At this point it's impossible for me use Outer Tune any longer.

What are you using?

claryfication:

on the long run im looking to build a offline media vault. but for the moment. i want to use a Spotifiy alternative, where there are suggastions... for new music that i like.

i tried Rimusic a while ago can't say why i find't like it anymore.

i love making playlist offline with it and PipePipe is a dream but its not right for me for music

Hello, how do you document your home lab? Whether it's a small server or a big one with firewall and more nodes. I have a small pc with Proxmox and there I have a VM with OpnSense. After I've entered my VPN as a interface in OpenSense, I noticed that I slowly lose the overview with the different rules that I have built in my firewall. And I know that my setup is relatively easy in comparison to others here in this community. I want to have a quick Overview at the various VMs, like the Lxc container, Docker containers that I have in this and the IP addresses that I have assigned to them. I search for a simple an intuitiv way for beginners.

I heard an Talk about this. And wanna try this on an Connection between LoRadevice and Wifi and an old smartphone. When i have Time.

Hi everyone! I'm planning to deploy my server with an ARR-Suite and would appreciate some tips and tricks before I start, so I don't have to tear it down later. I want to automate it as much as possible while keeping it relatively simple, as I'm a beginner.

Firstly, I'm looking to download movies, TV shows, and some audiobooks. I am interested in using both Usenet and Torrents. I am German and prefer most of my media to be in German. I understand that most torrent trackers and Usenet groups are in English, but I'm primarily looking for German content. Can you recommend some public trackers or groups for this?

I understand that if you want to use private trackers and contribute to the community, you should seed for extended periods. How can I set it up so that I can seed for a long time while still using the files, renaming them, and moving them to my preferred directories without disrupting the seeding process? Are there any good tutorials or videos you would recommend?

I have tried to start this project multiple times, but I often run into the issue of wanting an automated system that renames and organizes these files into my desired directories without destroying the seeding process and without duplicating files, as I have limited storage.

If this post is not appropriate for this community and should be in a homelab forum, please let me know. I would love to hear about your setups and best practices.

Hi everyone,

I'm a complete beginner with Blender and I'm about to start a project where I want to model a cyberpunk-style mask. I have a 3D face scan of my own face, and I’d like to design the mask so that it fits properly later on.

I haven't started the tutorials yet, but I found Computer Explained 3D Modeling in Blender and the first Donat video quite interesting, especially for navigating within Blender. Before diving into modeling the mask, I’m looking for additional tutorials or tips that could help me with this specific project.

If anyone has suggestions for helpful resources or techniques, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!
