Right but self choosing a label doesn't mean that you define what that label means or if it applies to you. Telling someone the label they have chosen is applicable if they personally think it is appropriate is stupid when they've asked specifics about what exactly a label means and how it might apply in the context of their life.

I hear about them in basically every corner of the anglo-sphere except the US. The ones in the UK are in the news all the time and here in Melbourne I have a crowd of 100's march past my apartment every other month. Anybody in the US have experience with them? I assume they have a relatively small Palestinian population due to their overt Israeli support, is that true?

I feel like the people I interact with irl don't even know how to boot from a USB. People here probably know how to do some form of coding or at least navigate a directory through the command line. Stg I would bet money on the average person not even being able to create a Lemmy account without assistance.

Thoughts on using raw sugar as opposed to sugar syrup? (aussie.zone)
 

Behind the bar I prefer syrup because it's easier and faster to pour. At home though I've noticed it's easier to just put the amount of sugar into the tin rather than batch a bunch of syrup. All of it dissolves in the tin and its not having a noticeable effect on taste.
