There’s a documentary about exactly this. It’s called “The Sopranos”

The very fact that you want this and is the impetus for writing this story means that there is a deeper meaning to be found within it. That’s the beauty of art.

I can see that. I made my comment as a barely romaji familiar level. I just think it’s neat that the complex language/writing has translated to the global era and digital era so well.

Awesome shot! Great work.

That’s the neat thing about typing Japanese when the keyboard knows. You can literally sound it out and have it turn into the character as you finish a syllable (or whatever the proper term is for Japanese)

This the kinda shit we ought to be putting medals on pilots for.

Cutting boards are so underrated for DIY. I have some knockoff Ortlieb pannier clamps I 3D print and bolt to cutting boards as a backer for all kinds of accessory modules on my bike.

Sure would be expensive for them to replace that set of tires because the sidewalls blew out for some reason

Yes you just taught me I’m paying more than I needed to using their B2 directly lol but I gave a few different backup buckets configured and I don’t mind paying a little extra for flexibility, vs paying for each machine I want data backed up on.

I use Duplicati and I THINK it has a container option? It is a web UI though.

I have my Immich library on a network drive and I took the lazy way and have my desktop duplicati just back up the network drive instead of directly on the server 😅

Backblaze B3, backup software of your choice pointed at the Immich library. Photos get put into Immich, backup runs, data encrypted and saved offsite.

I know this is anecdotal but I have a 15 year old hitachi hdd still in use. It’s no longer for anything critical but I’m just morbidly curious how long until it explodes.

I vastly prefer working with SLA printers, and with a very slight length adjustment and manual supports, I can fit the parts on my build plate. I’m 100% confident the print would succeed (waiting on Pop Pop to say they won’t shoot my dog).

Comparing the TDS of something like Siraya Blu Nylon Black, the stats are very close to the ideal minimums recommended by Hoffman Tactical.

I don’t really care if it melts after a bunch of rounds (it won’t), nor if it abrades easily. I just want it to not explode and to kinda sorta function.

Am I crazy for hoping?
