Donating monthly is way more fulfilling that being fored to pay monthly subscriptions.

In Mbin users can enable it if they want.

Nope. But I am currently looking for a new bank since I moved. So maybe I can give an update in a couple of weeks.

I had a quick look at it. It request your credit card details + account balance. The API has no real validation, so we could probably spam their database with the Beemovie script xD \ After submittimg data, you get insulted in (I guess) russian.

It even has a support chat. But it locks up after the scam "completes" and the link seems to be single-use. So I was not able to check if they plugged a LLM behind it.

Update: the link works again after deleting cookies. I was not able to get the chat to generate anything. Maybe a real person is wasting their time there, lol.

Countries going against each other is part of this world (sadly). I don't care that much if they play a dumber version of chess with their military assets.
But fucking KEEP THE CIVILANS AND THEIR INFRASTRUCTURE OUT OF THIS. There is NO reason at all to bomb a school or hospital.

While fixing a problem with a Wayland app I noticed that the programm got a notification from a Wayland fd whenever I selected some text in any other window (not belonging to the app) and was able to read the contents of the selection.

As I'm not a fan of sharing data without explicit actions (so Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V), is there a way to disable this behaviour of Wayland?

I know that this is an english community, but the topic fits and maybe here are some Germans who enjoy this humor.

I really like the concept of Wero and would like to give it a try. What I don't like are forced apps. I'm mostly on my PC and also many financial apps don't like my phone as it is flashed with custom Android.

So has anyone experience with a bank which lets their customers use Wero in the browser?

Or as an alternative do you know apps of Wero supporting banks which can be run in Waydroid?

Posting this as I find it astonishing how nature invented electrical motors with gearshift way before humans did.

I'm entertaining the thought to write my backups onto tape storage. So my questiont to this community is: does someone know where (if any) to get cheap and simple (my requirements are "just writes & reads the data and is usable with a Linux machine") used tape drives?

Thanks for any hints.
