Yeah, I'm actively sourcing a laser welder for my work and one of the requirements is the ability to fit a part that is ~24 inches long and pretty much the only way we've found to do it in our budget is to have an opening in the enclosure that uses curtains and brushes to allow that part to stick out but still protect from the light escaping, and we're only talking 300 watts

I'll have to see if I can find where I read this to cite the source.

The National Ignition Facility is researching using insanely huge lasers to start a nuclear fusion reaction. They are currently the most powerful laser in the world.
Want to know what the second most powerful laser in the world is? The reflection of the NIF laser.

Found it, SciShow. https://youtu.be/gqPlVUuXiYY

Honestly in some ways the actual number doesn't matter, if you earn your living by selling your labor for a salary or wages you aren't the problem

Mean average maybe, what about median?

Gravity is also ultimately why the winds blows, hot air rises by being less dense only because colder denser air is pulled down displacing the hot air up. Burning a candle in microgravity is very different than on the surface of Earth

Drones are the modern pitchforks and torches, but also pitchforks and torches never go out of style so bring some of them too

That thermo-luminiscence video looks like one of the most AI produced things I've seen, why not link the wiki like you did for radio carbon dating?

So that's how the mythical "up hill both ways in the snow" works, live at the top of a hill, school is at the top of a hill on the other side of a valley, yes there is downhill but there is up hill in both directions
