Last night, I stupidly ate a chilli in an attempt to unblock my nose. Today, I am reaping the consequences. Just an upset stomach. Nose still very much blocked. Yay!

Oh dang.....even the baby balsam? I think that's low (or free from) camphor.
There's steamer liquids you can get, bit if eucalyptus (if that's okay) and other stuff that helps with congestion.
Chili is more enjoyable.

Got one of these a while back purporting to be from my son to pay for taxi home. Given that he was in San Francisco at the time I should have leapt at the opportunity - cheapest fare home from there I've ever heard of.
I'm switching back to my old Huawei from my Pixel because I don't want to buy a new phone just yet. The Huawei feels so much nicer and it still works fine, I only got a new phone because the usb port was getting temperamental but I've cleaned it and it's working again now.
The Huawei actually connects to the Guest Wifi at work so that's a big bonus already. Using my phone here was a headache because it's a mobile blackspot and my phone would just stop pulling data on the wifi.
Everyone stopped selling Huawei because they knew they'd be too powerful if they were allowed to continue in the west. At this point I'd gladly degooglefy my life for another one.
What didn't you like about the pixel?
It doesn't work with the wifi network at work and some of the ones at home. USB port is going to shit, they chose to not connect video out to the USB port, battery hasn't been great, updates make it worse, slow on some applications (like it gets so hot and slow on balatro but this phone has been fine), and I need to get a new phone now because of the massive camera bump. It must have been my keys that smashed the glass when I fell off my bike
I hear the screen size is tiny, and can only be one colour at a time
Interview this morning, the seek post definitely undersold the role. One guy liked me, one didn't. Let's see what happens.

Well that was an interesting drive. Had to navigate a set of failed traffic lights, two separate wheelie bins that had blown onto the road, and a small fallen branch. Itโs windy out there, take care.
2nd interview went ok. I was pretty nervous tbh so if it doesnโt move ahead thatโs ok. But the guy did tell me what the next steps would be.
Fingers crossed but Iโm still applying to other jobs of course.

yay, the painting of the bedroom suite is done. Five pieces of furniture , scrubbed clean, sanded , repaired, then four coats of paint. The chair has been reupholstered, the drawer handles repainted a silver gold colour and all the drawers painted inside and lined with contact.
Debating on going into office tomorrow and having Thursday and Friday WFH.
Alternatively, WFH tomorrow and Friday, come in Thursday.
I'll decide tomorrow morning when the alarm goes off I guess.
