Your link doesn't say he went to Epstein's island. It says Matt Groening took a flight on his plane and got a foot massage. It also doesn't say that he knew the "underage woman" was underage. I'm all in on prosecuting everyone who raped kids with Epstein, but the bar should be a little higher than accepting a ride on a rich guy's plane.

I've got the feeling that Epstein probably made a routine of getting himself close to other rich and famous people for the purpose of befriending and trying to see who would take the bait. I doubt he offered children to everybody who boarded his plane, so he probably started with little things (like a foot massage) then guaged the person's reaction and offered from there. That someone flew on his plane I don't think automatically makes them guilty, but I would look closer at the people who flew in his plane multiple times.

Side note, as a massage therapist toenail fungus is extremely common. Also, the presence of sock fuzzies suggests a brand new pair of socks. If anything, most of the people that I've met that have toenail issues are extremely self-conscious about the way their feet look and aren't very comfortable exposing their feet to strangers. According to the article it was Epstein's idea, so that just makes me wonder if it was part of his game to put Growing in a compromising position for future black mail.

I never rode on his plane. Have you? There are over 300 million Americans, what percentage of them rode on his plane?

Seems to me that it would be absolutely no loss to anyone if ALL who rode on his plane, have ANY association with him, or are otherwise connected with him, are barred for life from ever holding any political office or authority.

In addition, anyone in the same group is added to a list similar to the sex-offenders list, but it is simply the "Epstein list." Not to be confused with the actual list. This new list just requires even a picture with him to be added to it.

Even the slightest scent of foul play with underage people would trigger a massive response. When on the list, you aren't allowed near anywhere where children are. You cannot have any business associations involving children. This along with other sensible cautions for possible child rapists.

The thing is, the rich and powerful should be under MORE scrutiny. Right now they have more rights than a common person. But authority should come with less rights and more responsibility. I would say not associating with a know child trafficker is a pretty low bar, and there are countless rich people who haven't done that.

The rest of us are burned on a daily basis for significantly less.

I think it's weird and sus, but we don't need a witch hunt, we need to release the files. I couldn't find any testimoney that implied Groeing was part of child trafficking.

It isn't a witch hunt. He is a known child sex trafficker the and statistics are clear. The minuscule number of people exposed to him vs the size of the greater population isn't even a blip on the radar. These sorts of sex traffickers are experts at covering their tracks, so a wide net around the super tiny population exposed to this creep is not only sensible, it is really the only way forward to safeguard the future.

I think a lot of people didn't realize he was a sex trafficker early on. He was just a rich, influential guy who would give you a cool ride on his fancy plane. It could take a while for a naive person to put 2 and 2 together. I only speak from the point of view of my own personality: I've always been overly naive, but I bet there are others like me.

Which is why Trump org is trying to say that the release of the documents would be detrimental to a lot of things…. I say good, it still needs to be addressed. I think there are people on that list that would surprise a lot of people because that was the “thing” to do when you are in that crowd of people… That last sentence was very difficult to type out.
