They were only loosely based on the books. Sometimes just the title. And they ran out of books 30 years ago.

No. I need at least 20-25 more spy one-man-army action movies before I watch anything original again.

For real, though. He should do original/unique movies. Leave the generic slop factory shit for Michael Bay clones.
