I think it's baby powder being dumped in there. Excessive sweating can quickly cause rashes. We used to do the same when I worked in a kitchen, just without the fancy machine.

presumably the expensive sports doctor applying the cryotherapy is trained. they use these in all the big league sports. The white gas you see rising is nitrogen.
