Does Toronto want more stagnation? I mean, things could be a lot worse and Tory promises to get us there.
He was the leader of the Ontario conservative party before he became mayor and it shows.
Even for the so-called fiscal conservatives, Tory increased the city's budget by 20% in the first year after taking over from Rob Ford. Decades of conservative mayors and premiers have done serious damage to the city.
Why? He didn't seem to want the job when he had it. His one and only "achievement" was keeping property tax increases low and that was at the expense of the quality of life in the city.
Uh no thanks Mr. Tory. You took your face-saving exit, it'd be better if Toronto forgot about you and the decade the city spent falling behind under your rule.
