I would have no idea who hasan piker is if the Republicans weren't losing their mind over him. I mean, I still don't, really. But now I've heard the name and have a vague understanding of what he does. They're giving him so much more exposure (get it?) than he would have had otherwise. They've created their own demon like they always do.
Like trans women in women's sports. But they're trying to kill women's sports too, so like... What? But anything that makes their base riled up is a win for them. It distracts the mush-brained base from seeing their income getting taken by billionaires or chemical companies making their tap water undrinkable while republican lawmakers line their pockets from those same chemical companies. If only the media could quit the culture war bullshit and focus on things that matter... Ahh that'd be nice, wouldn't it?
