Fun fact: at its peak in 1920, the horse population of the US was 25 million. Today it is 6 million

Not my scene

There's probably one stallion in this herd. And maybe he doesn't have his cock out yet, but if you ask nicely and tease a little, that could change.

I don't know enough about what's going on to judge, but at least they aren't dragging someone through a city street with a sack "catching" their shit and people think its alright they've been doing it all day when they were to hot to walk ~150 meters.

These horses are living wild (feral) in a protected natural area with nice beaches to sunbathe on and no natural predators. (At least no natural predators for the adults. And, for the most part, the adults are able to protect young ones.)

Yes, for the most part, these horses are living exceptionally good horsey lives. Far more fortunate than most horses.

(Though there definitely are some downsides. There's nobody to take care of them if they get injured or sick, nobody to give them dewormer and rid them of parasites, nobody to feed them during times when food is running short. On average, they're probably not living quite as long as a well cared-for domestic horse. But maybe the freedom to roam and reproduce as they choose makes up for that, as the vast majority of domestic horses are not allowed to do either of those on their own volition.)

Horsies look like they have an inclination to be horizontal.

they're not cute anime girls who go to an academy to study how to run better
