Add another one:

I skipped an apparently irrelevant (but not irrelevant at all) step of my morning routine. I'll need to arrive to the following checkpoint of the day to get back to myself.

[–] eksb@programming.dev 7 points 3 weeks ago

Also

  • ate too much
  • clothes are not tight enough
  • hot
[–] Strider@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Bad sounds and people are more than enough....

Another one missing is unexpected change

[–] strawberry_enjoyer42@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

yay 10/10 (i swapped cold for hot because AGHHHHH)

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 4 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Hot doesn't really bother me because it means I'm not cold. Maybe it would be different if I wasn't cold 95% of the time.

[–] Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 3 weeks ago

Im the exact opposite lol

[–] strawberry_enjoyer42@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

You definitely don't live anywhere near me. It's hot here. Like, so frickin' hot. Trust me, you wouldn't like it.

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 1 points 3 weeks ago

It's hot AF here. The problem is everywhere I go has their fucking AC set to meatlocker so the instant I go inside all the heat gets sucked out of my body. I go outside every half hour or so to warm back up.

Clothes are touching my body, that one can fuck up my whole day.

[–] Zacryon@feddit.org 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Okay and how do you cope with that?

[–] Strider@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

That's the neat part....

But sarcasm aside. Spoons. Manage your energy and act accordingly.

And yes, this does not solve it and sometimes still lead to overload but it's the best shot we have.

I had to put a sweaty shirt back on today.

"Someone capitalized the first letter of every word in a sentence".

[–] ikidd@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I just immediately stop reading anything like that (and anyone using "u" and "ur"). It's never going to be worth the time you spend reading it.

U Have 2 B Kidding Me

In german you capitalize all the nouns. It is trippy to read in the beginning, when your native language does not.

So... All the time

Are clothes not supposed to touch your body??? How does it work?

[–] elephantium@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

It's a sensory thing. For me, some fabrics are fine but some drive me nuts. It also depends on the day; sometimes I'm feeling more or less tolerant.

(no official diagnosis in my case, just "Oh, some of this sounds familiar")
