Go fuck yourself with your humor, you fucking asshole.

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 week ago

Humor sucks anyway, it's for fucking losers

I'm from Hungary, but I wasn't sure about this so I looked it up and I was right: it shouldn't be possible for the number to continue with a 0 after the +36 prefix. This bothers me for some reason.

It's likely a spoofed number. Most of the phone calls I get have the first 6 digits of my 10 digit phone number despite me moving quite far away from where the number was issued (and keeping my old number). It's a pretty good way to tell if a call is spam.

Many people here were redditors

[–] abbadon420@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 week ago

Worst insult ever.

"Oh yeah? Welll.... you used to be a redditor"
*mic drop *

Yeah, like me πŸ₯²

I've done my best to pick up as little socialization from that place as possible. Tis a place of scum and villainy πŸ˜”

We are all doing what we can I think. This place DOES have a culture that is different from reddit

[–] Cris_Citrus@piefed.zip 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Yeah, it very much does, in a variety of ways. It's cool being on a platform that looks and feels much like reddit but seeing folks around and recognizing them by username, getting to ask how life is going or see what project theyre working on :)

One of my fav things about the fediverse is that it's social media that actually feels social! ☺️

It’s a dad joke, it’s lame by definition…

[–] manuallybreathing@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 week ago

When i first started using reddit it made my skin crawl hoe insincerely nice everyone was to each other, so this demonstrates to me lereddit is sincerely mainstream

I feel like humour on Lemmy is also degrading. About a year ago, my shitposts used to get get so many upvotes, nowadays, it's like people don't understand the meaning of most jokes, or take shitposts seriously. And I'm not even talking aboit posting on random communities, I'm talking aboit shitposts on c/shitpostlemmy. And not just my shitposts, almost all shitposts. Similarly, people downvoted unpopular opinions on c/unpopularopinion. This was not a thing about 6 months to a year ago.

I have noticed a similar thing but it severely varies with what I post
