As a son of a specialist physician, I know full well how hard it can be to connect the dots between random symptoms and a problem that's actually in the brain. It's not rare for such confirmed diagnoses to become case presentations (which is how I know 😉).

Glad it had a happy ending (as much as possible anyway). Also very interesting! Especially the bit about it being difficult to getting stuck in a psychiatric hospital.

I also find it interesting how much it took before they went to the hospital. #merica.

Yep. If he wasn't a man, and/or was of a lower class, he'd probably still be stuck in psychiatry.
