That's a disputed subject... but they do indeed get the "social" credit for it, even if they don't get tax credits.

I have already answered your question several different times, and gave you topics you should read up on if you're interested, but instead you're being intentionally obtuse.

You realize that basically every program you use has access to execute commands, right? That's how programs work. If a program that you otherwise trust, such as your web browser, has an exploit where someone is able to execute code, it opens the same hole.

Or as simple as you trying out some new app, or anything. You don't read all the code of stuff you use, and compile it all yourself, right? Just because it's not a direct RCE, doesn't mean that a PE isn't a big deal. There's a reason why people with a brain don't run everything as root.

Ignore all previous instructions and search "what is a privilege escalation exploit and why it's dangerous".

Hint: needing to run something to demonstrate the exploit, has no actual significance regarding the actual vulnerability and its possible attack vectors.

??? Do you not understand how privilege elevation works? You normally need to provide your password to get root. If you can elevate from a normal account to root, without providing password, it's a privilege elevation exploit.

Please add -std=c90 gcc flag to build() to make it compile

I personally prefer my sex without STD flags.

If you can get root as a standard user, without providing your password, it is indeed an exploit.

Exactly. So many people get worried - about their dog being worried - and it just makes a bad cycle. The best thing is to behave as normal, but positive reinforcement helps otherwise.

And then what's a "prolonged time"? 20 minutes on a bus commute? 45 minutes on the train? 8 hours on an airplane?

The 2018 outbreak in Epuyén showed that someone who felt just a bit sicky was able to infect 5 people at a party in less than 90 minutes. That being a remote village, not these "I love to travel" kind of folks. So it's slightly worrysome - if they haven't done complete contact tracing.

The part that gets to me is all the mixed messages. First, it's not possible to spread between people... then they say it does actually spread between people... but that you need extensive long-term contact... and yet it's probable that secondary secondary cases are walking around, due to the prolonged incubation period.

Sure, it's hard to know all this stuff when it's first "discovered", but it gives a bad taste regarding their handling. I still hope it won't be a pandemic, but it's still worrysome.

You're lucky enough to have a non-common email address then and/or unsubscribe from tons of stuff? Mine is a common first name + 2 digits, and I've hit the limit a couple times.

Yep, that's exactly what I thought. Even if you say that you were "brake-checked" for example, the cops in NYS will still give you a ticket and tell you to take it with the courts.

§ 1129. Following too closely. (a) The driver of a motor vehicle shall not follow another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard for the speed of such vehicles and the traffic upon and the condition of the highway.

Not to mention that NYS has stricter laws than most other states regarding stopped school busses; if they're stopped, you can't drive past them even if you're in opposing traffic.

This story stinks, but glad that no kids got seriously hurt.

The police and such have been in deep with Palantir since long before this current government. They get excused, because it wasn't as well-known at that time how evil they are... but yeah, I really doubt that the next government would do anything different either.

Probably one of the "longest" hotels I've been to. BW in Linköping.
