The London leg of the event, which has run annually since 2004 — interrupted only by the pandemic in 2020 — is set to take place on Sunday, June 14.

I think I might do that ride this year in my city. My friend agreed he would go in his underwear if I did.

Once again we find a situation where the ultra loud minority are taking up all the oxygen while the silent majority simply does not care.

God I fucking hate social media.

"growing intolerance"... From like Russian bots who spend a lot of time dividing people or something?

[–] Smaile@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I mean it might make things weird that day but I think people are worrying about other things these days, including the bigots.

People really need to learn to just let things be weird sometimes.
You're not going to die because someone is doing weird shit, Karen. Grow up.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far, letting things get to weird, one way or another, can cause problems. There is a limit to everything.

The girls are cheating though

As in they’re all wearing clothes?

Not really shocked that people aren’t keen on an event where a lot of dudes hang dong in public

Then don't show up to participate in the event, then

I need you to point out where I said I have an issue with the event because it seems you hallucinated it

The London leg of the event

That's not a leg

Not for me, unfortunately. My saddle is too thin and my willy too small. 🖖🤣

Cool and all, but sitting butt naked on my bike sounds super uncomfortable.

All I can imagine are my nuts looking like laffy taffy as I try to peel them off the bike seat.

Sit on a hand towel

You gots need nice bike seats

They’ve got wide ones, springy ones, cloth ones… lots of options to prevent your sweaty balls from sticking.

[–] curbstickle@anarchist.nexus 0 points 1 day ago

Wide isnt really good for your butt, same with the super soft ones and the springy ones. A firm, narrow seat is best for general use.

I could see swapping to something more "breathable" for a naked ride though.

Just throw them over one shoulder to keep them from getting tangled in the pedals.
