it is going to be closed forever if it takes for israel to stop bombing its neighbors

Israel: We're not included in the ceasefire
Iran: You sure about that?

Isreal stopping it's assault on Lebanon was one of Iran's conditions of the 10 point-plan to end the war in 2 weeks, so Israel decided to accelerate the bombing to wipe them out before the 2 weeks is up.

And now after saying it's based on Irans ten points after Pakistan saying Lebanon is part of the ceasefire America has walked back that claim against all evidence.

Why do these titles always dance around the fact that whenever a ceasefire is proposed, it is Israel that never stops firing?

Ffs! Never ceasing fire doesn't THREATEN a ceasefire, it by definition makes it not exist!

Even media outlets that AREN'T explicitly super-zionist like the Jerusalem Post or the NYT are keep acting like concepts and words mean something different the moment that fascist apartheid state is involved! 🤦🏻😡

It's impressive how much Trump seemingly wants China to gain power and the US to lose it.

Eh. That's like saying there's a conspiracy of game publishers to enrich Gabe Newell.

It's a joke. Trump's is just only interested in his personal power and bully mindset, not what actually made the empire powerful.

Ceasefire you say? Boys! They've stopped shooting shoot them!

[–] Not_mikey@lemmy.dbzer0.com 22 points 2 days ago

Wow, good on Iran for not leaving their ally out to dry. Trump's mind probably can't grasp the idea of loyalty so he probably never thought this would happen when he announced it yesterday.

To achieve the USA's goals of peace and stability in the region, clearly they need to take out the source of instability -- namely Israel. How about a ground invasion there?
