General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Fucker is literally saying he'll end a whole civilisation. What the actual fuck are we doing here? I want to scream.

The Americans are in a tight spot though. That constitution is so weak that opposing the president in any way essentially constitutes civil war and the history has taught them that that's a bad thing.

Basically the world has been held hostage by the world's dumbest people. But that's always been the case, we have always been beholden to lazy idiots with enormous wallets.

But hey we may get a space colony out a bit so I suppose it might be worth putting up with them for a bit longer.

There is no such a thing as a defensive strike when you are part of a war of agression

No, he’s made himself complicit in anything they do.

Starmers team led some 40 nations tin "discussions" with Iran (victim of violence) that included threats of sanctions. I have searched but been unable to find any similar such conversations with the US.

Labour needs to be replaced by the Green party.
