TBH, it has consistently looked too-convenient, to-pat, & mostly like a false-flag operation by Putin & Orban.
The page linked, above, leaves me more convinced that that is true, rather than less.

This weekend are Hungarian elections, and Orban is facing a pretty tough fight for the first time in, like, a decade. It's kinda sad how transparent it is.
