Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

That is pure definition of Capitalism - Capital is absolute suveren, all hail the capital, the more you have it-the more you want it. Nothing can stand in a way of making more Capital. Humans, animals, planet, techology, even God and religion, they are just means to gain more Capital.
Also, it is capital now. It would make so much sense to make more capital by waiting, preserving and investing, but that's not what capitalism does, only oil, money, now.

As a secular humanist, it hurt me quite a bit to write that out, but it was rather speculative and I think rather accurate.
If you believe in Jesus Christ, then actually read the things he said, not what they want you to hear.

I think they bastardized the Bible’s permission to eat meat into ownership of all animals to do what conveniences them.
After the Noah’s ark story, God says “God tells Noah, "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you all things”
This meant to consume, but human greed never seems to allow us to consume sustainability. We have a very religious babysitter who feels strongly that animals have no souls and therefore are of lesser importance than humans. As though the whole world was laid out for us like a playmat, and when we destroy it God will just get us more toys.
Well, same god that killed all but a handful of humanity and all but two of each animal, so… Don’t make appeals to their mercy or empathy, they have none.
I mean they're not building a giant boat to put the whales in, either. Seems like they're OK with killing them all this time.
