I’ll keep saying it and getting downvoted, but Dems don’t just get to try and reclaim power and act normal. They need to do this shit back to his supporters 100x whole simultaneously trying and executing this regime. Anything less is not enough.
There's very good reasons for the birthright citizenship dating from post-slavery. However, most countries don't do birthright citizenship. They do have a statute that allows for citizenship if you were born there and lived there for a certain period of time though - which would/could arguably be a more sensible approach overall as long as the removal of birthright citizenship isn't being done for bigotry reasons, which, unfortunately, the US has proved time and time again that is the main reason it exists in the first place and why it shouldn't be removed. Once it eventually grows up past its racial-predjudice stage, it might be able to rectify this.
Name one country on earth that doesn't have prejudice and racism. This isn't just a US problem. Look at the fucking EU right now and all of their efforts to stop people from immigrating. The entire human race is a group of tribal in-groups that are too stupid to learn to get along. That's why fucking Israel is dragging the world towards WWIII. The US is just too unfortunate in having a leader like Trump, whom the Zionists have Epstein dirt on. They're using that dirt to blackmail him into fighting Iran. He's a criminal. Netanyahu is a criminal. Yet they remain in power because we're trying to remain civilized inside our own borders and not start another civil war. Eventually, our species will either evolve past it's tribalism or go extinct. I'm wagering on extinction, because humans really are just a bunch of dumb apes.
