Got recommended some of his videos, primarily the one where he reacts and responds to The Deprogram's episode on China.

He goes off saying that China isn't socialist, that there is no such thing as "socialism in transition" or "highest stage of socialism". I stopped watching about 20 mins in.

I believe the last time this came up, we figured that there was a high chance thar he is Hoxhaist.

Yes, not a marxist-leninist

An ultra left, yes.

Yep. Obviously some type of ultra. Which flavor exactly i don't know. Their videos on classic works of theory are fine. Their takes on contemporary geopolitics can be ignored.

Not through active and scientific efforts of development for society. 😙 These libs (I just call them libs at this point, especially if they won't bother to learn Dialectical materialist foundations) are really so illiterate, uninformed about socialism/communism/Marxism and I'd wish they'd just keep their mouths shut if they aren't going to do any investigating. They end up spewing nonsense and derailing folks who are looking for true sources that gives them a better understanding of Marxism, revolution, and the dictatorship of the proletarian. I know, because I was constantly bombarded by ultras, Trotskyites, left communists and idealist anarchists. Best thing one can do is read and hear it straight from the mouths of actual, historic revolutionaries and theorists.

Watched his video on the ACP once.

A while later I followed him on Bluesky when I was still on there.

There he made a post in response to Lady Izdihar's video on cosplay & Baldur's Gate 3 where he bemoaned the fact he shared viewers with "this person".

I stopped following him afterwards.

I got an impression he follows an MLM line. He's fairly critical of anarchists and Trotskyists, but I haven't seen him go after Stalin or Mao, only post-Deng China. Still find his work very useful, but it requires a lot of attention to separate the original text from his editorialising in some of his audiobooks.

An "ultra" who is anti-Deng is but fine with canvassing for the... checks notes... USAmerican Green Party.

The label you are looking for is: westerner.
