Thanks, and yeah the whole bubble is one giant pyramid scheme.
aww somebody's malding when seeing non-imperial media
I actually ended up writing an article with a bit a of dive into how this tech ended up developing differently in China https://dialecticaldispatches.substack.com/p/the-chinese-ai-playbook-is-industrial
In fact, this isn't even theoretical anymore because we can see how differently this tech is applied in China.
I'm not so sure, I think these people do get high on their own supply. It's unavoidable when you create a bubble where people just keep telling one another what they want to hear. We have lots of examples throughout history of elites being completely blindsided by the historical events. We should not assume that these people are smarter than everyone else just because they control a lot of capital. Their power base ultimately lies in the west, and the entire western system is now under pressure. The situation in Europe is most acute, but the same contagion is present in the rest of the bloc. When the crash comes it's going to affect the whole system.
agreed, these people are simply not engaging with reality
sounds pretty based to me
I wrote about the way the economy is organized in China. It's not so much about the percentage, but rather about controlling the commanding heights of the economy. The party is concerned with ensuring the overall direction while letting the markets work as allocators within the central plan. And any critical industry is directly state owned.
ML here, I was lucky enough to grow up in USSR, so I never went through a lib phase.
I guess Malaysia is already fairly closely aligned with Russia and China economically, so it's easier for them to tell Americans off as a result.
At least for the western economy. The global economy has become largely bifurcated between G7 and BRICS since the war in Ukraine started.
