Capitalism always translates to extreme market consolidation and fascism.

[–] OpenPassageways@lemmy.zip 16 points 2 months ago

Yeah, because capitalists refuse to lift a finger to do anything about it, so they've created this situation. It wasn't inevitable that we'd have to burn them down, they could have just been slightly less greedy.

So close, yet so far away.

As an aside, the 2020's have not been kind to the necks of popular conservative influencers.

Make something for purpose instead of for profit and you will out of business before the end of fiscal year. That's the world we build.

the only framework capitalism can thrive in is dystopia

the only endgame for capitalism is dystopia

Seems like trump is working hard to end it.

"For your sweat you'll be rewarded"
They told us every day
"There's a land of milk and honey
And it's not so far away!"
But the finish line kept moving
And the promises wore thin
And the smoke on the horizon
Is the burning promised land

And this place may still be somewhere
But they sold it out from under us
Our voices all ignored

– Rise Against, Nowhere Generation (2021)

No shit does "save out future" mean "stop selling it"
