France has authorised United States forces to use French military bases during the conflict involving Iran, according to a report by BFMTV.

The broadcaster said the decision would allow US armed forces access to facilities on French territory as the war continues to expand across the region.

Officials at the French Ministry of Armed Forces did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the report.

Looks like the French got their knee pads on to service Trump and Netanyahu.

The French ruling class has plenty of interest in this on their own, western governments are kind of like the guys with the brushes in curling, and transnational corporations are the stone

How many countries have to be involved for it to be considered a world war?

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 29 points 7 months ago

There has to be white people on both sides.

you have to have at least two major powers in it on opposite sides, i think. and it cant be a proxy war, even a half-proxy war like ukraine.

but we're getting there.

edit: alternatively, when whitey says so.

hope they're ready for missiles to come down on them

[–] tesseract@beehaw.org 4 points 7 months ago

I don't think those missiles fly that far. Nevertheless, this is an absurd move after learning first hand what the Trump-Epstein regime is like.
