General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Farage has more loyalty to Donald Trump than he does to the UK

World would be a better place if Death took over Farage.

Well I'm glad he's said that because hopefully now the real loopy shit is coming out people will realise how awful he is. Though if dozens of credible accounts of vile racism, Russian bribes to the party, extensive links to fossil fuel companies and all the rest didn't do it, the hope is necessarily a slim one.

My 18 year old cousin at christmas: "when in doubt, cast them out!"

That. That's who our informed voter is. Swayed by a slogan spouted by a hot girl on a tiktok. And Farage and his cohort know it.

How surprising, Farage echoes Putin and Trump.

Farage also said UK would be a better place after Brexit.

Asked about the rise in popularity of Reform in the UK, Farage referred to the “moral decline” of Britain

Somebody call Alanis Morissette

When he sings Hail to the Chief, the guns (in greenland now much closer to UK) are pointed at he (or those in close proximity to he)
