Allow me to present the concept of “house left/right” and “stage left/right.” This is left or right depending on perspective, given from out in the audience looking at the stage (house) or from the stage looking out at the audience (stage).

What's the source of this comic? Just asking for a friend of course.
I only have plushies on one side of my bed, because I'd feel bad if I accidentally squished one for hours, or knocked them over onto the floor.
My plushies are watching me from above an exposed beam in my room, they keep the monsters away from there
