Oddly satisfying watch even for a Dutch bloke like me.
For those unfamiliar with the area, the tunnel that all of the cyclists are riding out of in the second half of the video is a huge bicycle parking station at the central train station. According to Wikipedia, it is the largest bicycle parking station in the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utrecht_Centraal_station#Bicycles
Yeah, but I think it would be better if they were lugging two tons of metal around per person.
Dutch cyclists can be wild. Once when visiting Amstrdam as a tourist, I got yelled at by a grandpa for blocking the cycle road.

This is what John Forester said was too dangerous
Hmm, still looks pretty hard to cross. I'd never have the confidence to just suicide out across like some of those pedestrians did.
at least its quiet though.
I visited Netherlands for a short vacation, and if you choose to walk everywhere, you get a hang of it pretty fast as a pedestrian. I'm definitely jealous of cycling culture there, lol.Β
Bicycles are slower, slimmer and more nimble then cars. So it is less of a problem, when you are used to it. You still need to look though.
just imagine what would happen if one or even more cyclists hit you
