Socialism is inevitable as long as we keep on fighting for it.

[–] Horse@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

[–] OdrobOdrobTelAviv@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

thank you!! but yeah it does seem like this is pretty much a dead end, sad

[–] Commiejones@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

I had a bit of a snoop around too. Only thing left I can think of is to email The Hotel Stalingrad.

Was standing in the train today with some orthodox Jewish guys, who seemed to be discussing if they were on the right train. One of them came up to me and asked me if they could use my phone to call someone since they did not have a phone. I said sure and gave them my phone. One of the dudes proceeds to call.

Then I realised: I have a big Palestinian flag sticker on the back of my phone lol. Got a bit nervous because of that but they don't seem to mind or see. Most of the time they aren't zionists but still tensions are a thing.

According to the Apple dictionary: “An Apple feature that helps you focus on a task by temporarily restricting your use of your iPhone, iPad or Mac to one app, and by disabling other areas of the screen.” Do with that what you will I guess.

I've been away for a while due to a strenuous and stressful move. I'm a bit more settled now in a new city where I don't know anyone or anything, hoping for a fresh start and a fruitful direction. Although it's quite lonely at the start.

[–] Cowbee@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I did that several years ago, and it was the most pivotal change in my life. It'll be tough not knowing anyone at first, but it was transformational for me. Good luck!

[–] commiewolf@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

Thank you comrade

As the weather cools down in the northern hemisphere, and warms up in the southern, make sure you're all dressing appropriately for the weather! Keep up with your goals, look excitedly towards the future, and roll up our sleeves so that we may better do the work necessary for that future to be a good one. The historic duty of the working class depends on each and every one of us.

Have a great week, y'all! And stay safe, people of Palestine. May the entity crumble to dust and your people be free from river to sea.

I hope you all have a nice week :D

Currently residing in Cologne, Germany for a few days and despite being labeled as a left wing leaning city, I have yet to see a single Palestinian flag or sticker. Lots of Antifa and anti nazi shit but no Palestine. Compared to my city, were every single lamp post has Palestine stickers, it is a strange sight.

[–] 666@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

Turn your friends into commies! It's what I had to do!

In all seriousness, I wish some for you, comrade.

How are bulks moved in the imperial core? 25kg/50kg sacks i mean or is everything moved in big bags with machinery.

[–] rentasintorn@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

On pallets with forklifts usually, I think.

[–] 666@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

[–] Verenand@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

My hands are numb last night because I was carrying heavy load of laundry and assisting my grandmother to take a bath.

[–] SpaceJack@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

Anyone watching The Lowdown staring Ethan Hawk? Its really good. It constantly reminds me of The Big Lebowski. Probably one of the best shows I have watched in a while.

[–] o_d@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 7 months ago

Ty for the recommendation comrade 🫡 I've added it to my Sonarr instance and am excited to watch it!

Went to visit a more culturally diverse part of Cologne yesterday and of course there the Palestina stuff was. It once again confirmed to me that white people need to get a grip.

And as passive they are about Palestine, as insufferable they are about Ukraine.

I feel like my friend (one of my oldest and dearest both in general and in the city I live in) is making great and visible progress in his recovery from mental health and substance abuse problems, and I can't help but feel somewhat proud of myself too because I had been going through the same process a few years ago and have been helping him along with my own experiences of the same issues as a paraller and my experience in therapy on handling the emotional side of things as guide.

This same friend also agreed to join me and my partner tomorrow as our nation's president is coming to our city to gloat over his peasants to ask him about our nation's business with Israel, last time he was asked about this the journalist was stopped by his stooges and apprehended by cops on account of "seeming like a threat".

Also ngl, seeing how much Mamdami is pushing ahead in New York is giving me hope. Not hope of him like single-handedly bringing about the revolution, but more hope for humanity, you know. When a person can communicate the issues with capitalism clearly for the current audience none of the proletariat can disagree, even those with years of western propaganda over their eyes. And also seeing him stay resolute on issues, and not falling for the usual rhetorical traps that policians use there has been refreshing.

All in all life seems good despite everything that's going on.

Thank you, I try my best. Not everyone gets the chance to go the same therapy I did, parts of which should really, really be in public school curriculum, and universally taught to parents to teach to their kids. But alas, it is not.

The conservative party of my country just did a relaunch campaign and i kid you not, their "new" motto is "Patria, familia y libertad". 😂

It's very funny because the emerging republican-ish libertarian party in México was using that motto and they're mad as fuck.
