Who doesn't like the taste of static?
It't what you get used to. I used to drink colas, but since I changed to sparkling water, sodas all taste like drinking molassis
Cold sparkling water is the way
Loblaws in Canada sells carbonated water in soda flavours.
The cola one is one of my favourites. Orange cream soda and regular cream soda are also good. Root beer one is also good.
These make excellent mixers for when you don't want extra sugar in your cocktails, but she's take some trial and error to make work
The PC cranberry gingerale flavoured soda water is 10/10
Not my jam but glad you love it
There's a black cherry vanilla one by Western Family(Overweightea group) that's really good too
I can drink soda all day (I don’t, but you know what I mean), but a sparkling anything just tastes horrible.
Heh, there’s been a can in my fridge for months now that someone left after a party. I need to get them to come back and drink it.
I love drinking TV static. Sodas are too damn sweet and unhealthy. Flavored sparkling water / seltzer is crisp and just different enough from regular water to keep it interesting.
It's water with all the bitterness of carbonic acid with nothing to cut the bitterness. It's even worse when it contains quinine. 🤢
The whole point is to contain quinine, to stave off malaria.
Yeah but bitter is awesome. Coffee, green tea, beer, etc. I'll take bitter over sweet any day
Green tea
I like green tea because it's sweet. White/baby tea is even sweeter.
But sparkling water is kiki and a CRT tv is bouba
I like it.
Sparkling water doesn't just taste like water with bubbles in it. It has a weird chemical taste on top of everything else which there's some reason people seem to ignore.
Carbonic acid
You may be thinking of mineral water? Or tonic, which has quinine. I love a good high-tds mineral water, don't much care for tonic though.
When I was traveling around eastern Europe years ago, I kept making the mistake of getting sparkling water when I would ask for a bottle of water as that would be the default choice. Sometimes they'd ask "with gas?" but they didn't always ask, and I'm too stupid to learn from my mistakes.
In the summer, you put a heavy pinch of sea salt and lemon juice in a glass of sparkling water and it's totally amazing. I was so upset with myself having only tried this at the end of August.
tf kind of mocktail is this?
It's basically fizzy Gatorade. The salt is electrolytes, and there's natural sugar in the juice.
Iced cold sparkling spring water is the way to go in the UK.
I emphasize "spring" because in the UK for the seller to put that on the label, the water actually has to be bottled from a proper natural water spring, no additional added shit (aside from the carbonation).
I used to hate sparkling water for the reasons listed above, but since I have been drinking less high sugar carbonated drinks, that super cold sparkling water has helped massively as a great substitute, especially when having it with a meal.
I like my spicy water.
I always associated it with the smell of the static charge that your TV gave off with one of those old tube TVs.
Holding your tounge close to a charged crt really tastes like sparkling water
Discount grocery store house brand is TV static. No doubt
Flavored sparkling water is where its at. Theres also a brand, that has squeezed fruit juices in it. I forgot its name. But they have a lime mint one that slaps.
Spindrift
Yeah. Their pineapple one is pretty good as well.
Spindrift?
I prefer plain sparkling water. No flavors or sweetener, just bubbles. Unfortunately my bladder doesn't agree that it's the best way to consume liquid, so now I'm dehydrated all the time because I can't convince myself to just drink still water like a normal human
its like unflavored beer. Alkaseltzer
I like, kinda sweet taste, not strong sweet but kinda lightly sweet.
wakes me up better than coffee
Oh he's right.
My bubbles.
Always prefered "medium" sparkly. Still water is just bland. Sure you can drink it if there's nothing else but it's just bland. When it's too sparkly though it kind of distracts from the taste of the water itself too much I think, which also isn't great because it subjectively feels like you didn't drink that much because it doesn't feel as refreshing. So I like the middle ground the most.
se jermins lov it
Exposure therapy
Sparkling water is sour but I love the bubbles.
My wife and daughter go through a case of that Bubly stuff in less than a week
