What a piece of shit.

[–] quetzaldilla@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (4 children)

I hate the moronic way in which Trump speaks. It's such a waste of everyone's time and energy.

Nobody actually listens to Trump speak because our brain cells don't recover as fast as they die off trying to make sense of what comes out of his fat mouth.

I hate it almost as much as I hate Dr. Brain Worm speak. RFK Jr always sounds like he's got the world's collective phlegm stuck in his throat when he speaks.

[–] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Truth is we want to believe "nobody" listens to him, a lot of people listen to him. That's why we are where we are. I saw a group of 60-70 year olds protesting his bullshit by my house today (small mountain town) and it was awesome. Granted, I live in California but it's a majority red area and I think even those that did listen to him are starting to actually hear him. And they're not ok with it, he won't succeed ultimately. There's hope here yet.

[–] quetzaldilla@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

I'm sure some people do, but not most.

I unfortunately deal with a lot of Trumpers due to my job and they are never able to quote him or will say shit like:

"HE NEVER SAID THAT"

And you show them a video, news articles, etc. and they say:

"THAT IS FAKE NEWS TRYING TO MAKE HIM LOOK BAD!"

And that's what I mean by nobody actually listens to him.

They listen to what Fox News, Joe Rogan, and other sycophants tell them that Trump said.

I think its funny but also sad. Since I dont live in America, I dont feel so annoyed, but obviously its very embarressing for America that this is the best man that could be found for the job as president.

RFK has a disease, he can't help that he speaks the way he does. I know the fascists wouldn't cut anyone slack over it, but I personally hate dunking on people about stuff they can't change about themselves-- it's part of why I'm not a fascist. Tbh, I hate hearing him speak, but it's because it sounds like it's tremendously painful for him to talk, and I wish he would stop putting himself in these situations that require him to speak. Apart from that, I also wish he would shut the fuck up and go find a field and stand in it.

[–] quetzaldilla@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

I have a disease as well, and RFK Jr wants to send me to a labor camp for it because he believes my disease is something I am choosing to have despite its painful disadvantages.

Thus, I disagree.

We all need to dunk on him as much as possible for the disease he has that he cannot change because vicious mockery is the only thing that cows narcissists.

I mean, just look at Elon after he got bullied online playing PoE. Their own behavior turned against them is the only thing they understand.

[–] OwlPaste@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

What a fucking plonker, double down arsehat

[–] RejZoR@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Can we just like write MS13 with MS Paint on JD Vance forehead and claim he has MS13 tattoos on him and deport him to El Salvador? Maybe even do the same for Trump and "photoshop" it on his ass.

[–] molten@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

Need better damn headlines. Begging is maybe only technically correct but doesn't capture any of the emotion or self righteousness of the situation. He ordered and acted the fool. But it was chastising like "why can't you just say yes? I'm so nice to you and this is how you return the favor?"

[–] Bonifratz@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Does anyone have a link to that picture? I can't find it anywhere.

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 1 year ago (3 children)
[–] BrokenGlepnir@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Being entirely clear. It's the actual letters. Some right wing guys tried saying that he wasn't trying to pass the letters off as real and the left was just freaking out over labels. Then this.

[–] Default_Defect@midwest.social 0 points 1 year ago (2 children)

So wait, it really was the labels that hes trying to pass off as real? I thought the whole thing was trying to pass off his actual finger tattoos as symbolism for MS13, even though actual MS13 just uses the actual numbers and letters.

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He keeps specifying "on his knuckles" and he expected people to buy the hurricane sharpie ridiculousness, so yeah. That's probably what he means.

[–] Default_Defect@midwest.social 0 points 1 year ago

You'd think I'd stop being surprised by this kind of shit by now...

[–] bollybing@lemmynsfw.com 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The interview makes it completely clear, Trump doesn't want to move on from the topic until the interviewer agrees that the literal characters M,S,1,3 are tattooed on the knuckles. Not tattoos that could be interpreted to mean MS13, literally "MS13".

Either Trump really is that stupid that he believes its real, or the Whitehouse is doctoring photographs and telling everyone they're real like the USSR did, albeit less competently.

[–] But_my_mom_says_im_cool@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If the White House doctored that photo, they gotta fire Barron or whoever made that awful “photoshop” that looks more like ms-paint

[–] Ledivin@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It was never meant to be a doctored photo, they look like they're photoshopped because the goal was just to use them as labels, pointing to the actual tattoos. Trump is just an idiot and doesn't understand technology

I heard a right wing talking head saying that tattoos on your fingers and knuckles are a gang thing.

Really? I guess im part of the Hyrule gang since I have Zelda tattoos on my fingers.

The dude has a weed logo, a happy face with x eyes, a cross and a skull. In what universe is that a gang thing? My wife has harsher tattoos than that

[–] Dlayknee@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

Less jpeg-y version, where you can see the Photoshopping more clearly:

1000001613

[–] Bonifratz@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago

Haha wow. Thanks!

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

[–] barneypiccolo@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I deliberately didn't watch that interview because i knew that I didnt have enough liquor in the house to get through it. The more I read about it, the more i know i made the right choice. I would have been SCREAMING at the TV.

We have to do something about this psychopath, and his henchmen. We are literally repeating Nazi Germany.

[–] Smoogs@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

Im glad im not the only one screaming at the tv way more than I used to.

[–] But_my_mom_says_im_cool@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That has to be the worst Photoshop job I’ve ever seen, it was like someone just slapped some computer font on a photo, and the letters are way darker than the rest of the photo. Like you have to be one of the stupidest people on earth you ever believe that photo was real

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I don't think the letters on there were even intended to be faked as part of the photo. That's the exceedingly stupid thing here - donvict seems convinced that the labeling is supposed to be part of the fakery and that we all need to buy into it.

[–] booly@sh.itjust.works 0 points 1 year ago

Seriously. It's like looking at a map of a battle and assuming the arrows are actual terrain features.

I like when donvict says that (paraphrasing) "this is why no one trusts you", referring to the media. No, only mouth breathers like donvict don't trust corporate media for calling out blatant lies like these. Mouth breathers fell for the lie that the likes of Faux is news.

The rest of us are suspicious of the corporate bothsiderist media when they don't call out the blatant LIES in starker terms.

[–] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm not very charitable to Trump, because he doesn't deserve it. I watched this particular clip and I got big "technically illiterate boomer who doesn't realize that any grade schooler can put 'M', 'S', '1', '3' on HIS hands in MS paint" vibes from him. That doesn't give him a pass in this situation, it's 2025, I expect the president to be vaguely aware of the technological capabilities of 98% of personal computers put on the market since 1998. It's also possible, I suppose, that he's aware it's a shoop and doesn't believe other people are capable of spotting it as being an edited photo; I can see him being a big enough narcissist to really believe that everybody else is really that stupid. I mean, I guess I can't blame him, just look at his rallies.

[–] pleasegoaway@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Trump now KNOWS that the photo is fake, but he is incapable of backing down.

…much like sharpie-gate.

[–] Smoogs@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

Oh someone is going to be fired for this one if they already haven’t walked out.

[–] technocrit@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (4 children)

Pretty sure this is fake news. There are two options:

  • Trump believes the Arial font on that photo is a tattoo. (Idiotic)
  • Trump believes the actual tattoos represent MS-13 as the Arial font suggests. (Slightly less idiotic)

Either way it's distraction. Garcia is still in a concentration camp.
