As a former Kansan, Missouri is way way better for any urbanist. Their state government allows cities a significantly higher degree of autonomy than on the Kansas side. And they have Branson which even single-handedly would make Missouri better than Kansas.
Branson has Yakov Smirnoff, I think that negates anything good about Missouri.
