A fascist strongman wants few things more than an attack that kills many but is ultimately economically superficial.
Edit: damn, LA's GDP is $1.7T. I still stick by my statement. Mr $2.5T debt a year would probably be excited at the faster timeline to crash the dollar. Most dictators want to maintain their country. trump does not.
If LA were to get hit basically all shipments via the Pacific (China, Japan, Korea) will get absolutely FUBAR’d. LA/LB are the top two US ports. Period. It’s a huge complex that would take I’d guess a decade of very diligent work to build something like it again; if a suitable location could even be found.
If SD gets hit our Navy is fucked. Pendleton is massive in scope and scale. If you drive down the 5 from OC to SD you’re surrounded by military owned land for the majority of the drive.
CA is the WORLD’s 4th larger economy. If CA gets hit it would create such a fundamental change to the US that it might not survive.
I completely agree.
The magnitude of destruction at an attack like that would be exactly what trump's techbro handlers are looking for. They want to split the US into several fiefdoms, each ruled by a tech demigod.
This is why trump is "paradoxically" running the country he "wants to be dictator of" into the ground.
