The agreement to release oil stocks comes amid growing concerns in Brussels about entering winter with low strategic reserves, and becoming more susceptible to what several EU officials described as US “blackmail”.

How warm are we talking with the air? If it's like -10c outside, how warm inside?

With -10C you might keep it as warm as 20-22C inside, usually with -20C and lower and an air source heat pump, you're probably going to keep it a bit colder to save on electricity.

How cold would it need to be to use normal levels of electricity at - 20c? My winters aren't that extreme, and I already have a pellet stove. Wondering if I would be a candidate for air source when my oil burner kicks the bucket.
