And we still suck the systems dick and choke on their cum why?
Oh yeah, Netflix, marvel, Pokemon, shitty music, meta, anything that datamines, and a bunch of other bullshit because we don't know how to sit with ourselves or the universe. It's so worth it especially since we are allowed to protest and pretend we are doing something good and then go back to being the problem.
The people we pay own the control. We have no right to be angry if we are part of it and consuming it.

The vast majority, at least here in the US, only have meaningful power locally, and locally we get some great shit done. In my city we got permits moratorium-ed for five years for ICE and have had three streetcar extensions in the last ten years. (And our streetcar is free.)
Nothing like that is possible at the federal or state level. None of it.
Bernie got close but, as Dems and Republicans are trying to do to all the DSA's, he got swift-boated and his primary rigged. I think everyone has the right to be angry when we're ultimately powerless to change the course of our country in a meaningful way.
