There's a zoo near me that has kangaroos you can pet. They are so very soft, they love scritches, they're like silly muscle puppies.

Lemurs, not so much. They look like they'd be soft but the feel like they were designed to scrub bottles.

Is this the Kansas City Zoo? I remember the kangaroo and wallaby exhibit was just an open field that you wandered around with the animals (just giant reds, just the small guys) and they would come right up to people.

Close! tanganyika wildlife park, south of Wichita. Though they do trade occasionally so we may have met the same kangaroo.

Now I want to try scrubbing bottles with them. You could probably have a while YouTube channel about cleaning vessels with various mammals.

Nah, it has to be some sort of burrowing animal; otherwise you get accusations of animal cruelty. Burrowers will happily leap into and out of the vessels themselves.

If ferrets had bristly fur they'd be the best pipe cleaners.

A burrowing owl?
