The difference is the internet wasn't built on theft with the explicit goal of disempowering workers

But neither is AI. It is not sentient. It is pushed in the direction of the ones controlling it. Which currently is the tech oligarchy. Realising that and trying to find a way to navigate that will put you at an advantage.
