why would a candidate ever say "don't vote for me". this is like political communication 101.

huge keir "you can leave" starmer energy.

It worked really well for president 47 Kamala Harris, so no surprise others are copying.

Frankly, it is an honest thing to say. I'm absolutley fine with politicians having conviction and transparency about their opinions, whether or not they win them elections. If their stance is not going to change and that is one of or the biggest concern for you, I think it is good that she let you know that she would not be a good representative for your goals.

For real. A politician is finally honest and people are bitching? I'd say it's refreshing.

The idea is to convey that she feels the position is insignificant enough that it doesn't matter.

Weird position given that the vast majority of Democrats actually do care about this issue and have a completely different opinion from the DNC in general. That is such an obvious vulnerability that its pretty weird the DNC isn't doing something about it. But I guess Israel pays them enough to be willing to lose elections.

She's been in that since 1997. That's nearly 30 years in a safe Dem district (D+29). She thought she was untouchable.

Haha I remember when he said that, the fool. Typical from the son of a toolmaker, whatever the hell that was supposed to mean
