that's a term that i've seen thrown in sites like 4chan for ages, /pol/yps usually like to think themselves as these epic smart guys, that "memed trump to presidency", and they're probably thinking these days something like this:

"wow even those fgts in the left are against israel now thanks to those hamas terrorists! /pol/ is always right! shadilay! soon they'll be asking for the return of the fuhrer to stop the killing of the brown people in gaza!"

im happy to say that i thought this was recent bc i dont frequent those sites. at the same time this is a bit of a bad sign bc it means that rhetoric is becoming mainstream.

that could be seen as something positive given that you were innocent enough by not knowing about the internet sewage known as "imageboard culture of the 2010s"

that rhetoric is becoming mainstream

it could be, or maybe the edgy teens of that era still use their meme jargon irl and know we think that's the "new normal"
