It took me 7 months to think about it but in the end I've come to realize that ravioli is a genus of hybrid pasta that serves as a bridge between pastas and dumplings. It represents a seperate but related branch of gastronomic evolution that answers some questions but opens the door to even more! More work is needed to discover other such cases.

This was a fascinating subject of study and I thank you for 7 dedicated months of research. Science is so lovely.

Another example of a cross-over pasta! The continuum of pasta to dumpling is littered with such specimens. Fantastic example!
