Please familiarize yourself with them

2) All posts must end with a '?'This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?

Cultural relativism aside, I'm sure we can agree on "terrible" if we talk it out. I'm not asking for a "well X country is worse than Y country, so, Y country isn't THAT bad". I'd say for this discussion we can go as far back as 1800 for "past" as I'm currently convinced there isn't a country with a perfect track record going back even that short a time.

According to the Lemmyleft the only way to be a country not doing terrible things is to not vote and plan on an eventual revolution where working classes seize the means of production from their oppressors.

In the meantime, ensure everyone lets the fascist elements run the table. Thus our consciences are clear and our morals unbesmirched.

The Lemmyright is insufferable, bringing up their complaints everywhere irrelevant.

[–] Chippys_mittens@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I haven't encountered the right on lemmy yet

Correct.... I've yet to see a conservative post or community here

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Sure no conservative views on the neoliberal instance. C'mon son.

[–] Chippys_mittens@lemmy.world -1 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (1 children)

Give me some examples? Or when you say conservative do you just mean your individual definition thats not attached to reality?

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (1 children)

Judging from your comment history I give you as an example.

Way to not say anything of substance. Boooooooooooooooo

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world -2 points 4 months ago

Yeah it’ll never happen. You’ll get prefab insults and maybe a talking point or two. Once in a blue moon someone will - eventually - make a reasoned argument but it’s rare.

Yes, but thankfully I have the honesty to see what's around me. I'm not saying being on .world makes you that exactly mind you, but again you see it.

You don't need to post the DNC platform.

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

According to the genocidal center, the only evil in the world is opposition to genocide.

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Seeing how you get downvoted for calling it out, and Optimal gets upvoted for saying genocide enablers are good... Yeah.

[–] SamemaS@lemmy.wtf 0 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Holy shit the escalation on Lemmy is just insane. Where the fuck did Optional say genocide enablers are good? There's 0 reason to make that claim. He said something mildly critical of certain streak of slacktivism on Lemmy and now he's a genocide supporter.

Do you ever give even the slightest thought to considering if it would be a bit easier to take you seriously if you wasn't so insanely hyperbolic all the fucking time?

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 4 months ago

The people getting downvoted for calling it out are somehow the bad guys, but the people upvoted in disagreement they genocide is bad is are the good guys.

Sorry you're too privileged to know better. Must be nice.

Lucky for them that they don't go to work, so they don't have to be part of the worker's revolution. They can just sit at home and be negative on the internet.

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Ah yes, they all have no jobs. What's next, you fucked their moms?

[–] GiveOver@feddit.uk 1 points 4 months ago

No, I do not tangle with lizards no more!
