I don't think sbox should fail if it does not support Linux. But if it ends up locking games and the developers behind Windows, then I don't want it to become popular.

@thingsiplay At the moment you are forced to run the game through proton/wine on Linux.

I was told by a staff (rudely) the tools would be forever windows only.
(but again got conflicting answers)

I was not able to set up a cohesive dev environment with the tools under proton/wine.

I wouldn't mind if it works perfectly fine through Proton to be honest. But anything that requires and locks to Windows only is bad for gamers, developers and the future of human race.
