There's a whole process for it. First, you smell it. Then rub it on skin. Then taste a tiny piece. Then swallow a tiny piece. Then you eat it.
Ofc, since many mushrooms take hours or days to kill you, this process does fuck-all.
These people imagine that a mushroom that destroys your liver would have some other offensive effect also
They would probably be surprised to find that mushrooms that will kill you also taste fine and don't cause any effect except the one that kills you
The was a famous murder case in Australia recently where the victims were fed a mushroom dish that none had a problem with until days later when they died
