Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Tope Olawoyin, who was due to stand for the Havering Green Party, has withdrawn from the council elections on May 7

She alleged it was orchestrated by members of the Jewish community, yet there is no mention from the police that those arrested are part of the community.

After four Hatzola ambulances in Golders Green were set alight on March 23, Ms Olawoyin had suggested the incident could have been orchestrated by members of the Jewish community.

Five people have now been arrested in connection with the attack. On Wednesday, the Met confirmed two British men, aged 19 and 20, and a 17-year-old dual British-Pakistani national, had been detained at separate addresses in east London.

Two British men, aged 47 and 45, were arrested last week on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and have been bailed until later this month.

Fair enough, I don't think she was too out of pocket to consider it given the discrepancies between the initial reporting and claims and the reality - but she shouldn't have jumped the gun given her electoral intent.
