Gotta tell my coworker today that his code is absolute dogshit and that me and one other guy are going to rewrite the whole thing. He is such a nice person though, I hope I won't break his heart.

If i was a coder and my code was dogshit i would want to know so i can improve upon it. It's chill. Frame it as "here's what I want you to bear in mind when programming something in future"
